What to expect when you first open it
My Bio Age 1.0.23 is available on the App Store. The release notes page lists the changes; this guide covers what to look at first and where to find it once the update is on your iPhone.
The first time you open the new version, the app may spend a while re-reading your Apple Health data. Progress appears at the top of the app, and in the Dynamic Island on supported iPhones. Your saved results remain available while it works, and the What’s New screen opens when it finishes.
Check your MyBioAge Index™
This release refreshes the MyBioAge Index™ calculations, so your number may not match what the previous version showed. The Index is a weekly estimate, so your trend over several weeks will tell you more than one reading.
Recovery, training, stress and sleep trends are clearer too. They are worth a look while you are there, because each one answers a narrower question than the Index.
Import a laboratory report
Open Settings and choose Laboratory results to import a PDF. Review or edit the extracted results, comparing them with the original report. My Bio Age does not upload the report, and saved PDFs and results are excluded from device backups.
An eligible reviewed blood panel can produce a Laboratory PhenoAge estimate and contribute to your MyBioAge Index+™. Each report shows whether it currently counts and when its contribution ends. This combination is a My Bio Age method. It has not been validated against health outcomes, and it is not a medical test.
Urine, hormone, tumour-marker and dietary tests can be kept as records. They do not change your Index or diagnose a condition.
Set up AI Coach
AI Coach can now draw on more context from your available Apple Health history. If you have not used it yet, download an on-device AI model from AI Coach first. Health analysis and AI Coach processing run on your iPhone.
The longer history is for AI Coach. The MyBioAge Index™ still scores the most recent six months.
Add the widget and check your Weekly Digest
Add the MyBioAge Index™ widget from your iPhone’s widget gallery, in small or medium size, to see your latest Index and key health metrics on your Home Screen. It shows a saved summary, so open the app when you want to review the underlying data.
Weekly Digest notifications now open your health summary directly. You can turn the weekly notification on or off in Settings.
Use My Bio Age in Brazilian Portuguese
My Bio Age is available in Brazilian Portuguese on iPhone and Apple Watch, alongside English, German and French. There is no separate language setting inside the app: it follows the language settings on your devices.
